    Syracuse to Portopalo

    Late-morning departure, we descend the south coast. We pass Avola, Pachino, we cross the Nero d’Avola vineyards. The driver tells you how this area changed in the last twenty years — from forgotten rural to one of the most interesting gastronomic regions of the island.

    Pura Vida Beach Club

    Pura Vida Beach Club

    Arrival at Pura Vida, sunbeds reserved for you, beach lunch (catch of the day, Sicilian antipasti, white wine of the land). Shallow crystalline sea, three to four hours of relaxation with no fixed program. Whoever wants takes the sand strip walking to the islet.

    Sunset experience

    In late afternoon we move to the Isola delle Correnti side facing west. The sun sets between the two seas — one of Sicily’s most beautiful sunset spots. Prosecco and platters served by Pura Vida.

    Aperitivo in Marzamemi

    Return via Marzamemi, the fishermen’s village with the square facing the tonnara. Aperitivo in the bars of Piazza Regina Margherita before returning to Syracuse. Expected arrival around 21:00.

Frequent questions

  • When is the best time?

    From May to October for the sea. From November to March the experience is more atmospheric (spectacular sunsets) but no swimming.

  • Can we change the order of stops?

    Yes. Some clients prefer Marzamemi in the morning and the Pura Vida sunset to close. We decide at quote time.

  • Children?

    Yes. Pura Vida has a family zone and the shallow sea is ideal.

  • Can it be done in half a day?

    Yes, short version 5h (just lunch + Isola delle Correnti, no Marzamemi). From €280.
